POOL A: AJ Carls (Centennial) scored the deciding goal in a shootout and Mark Belak (Cretin-Derham Hall) surrendered just one goal in the shootout as the Minnesota Seniors won the second-round matchup to improve to 2-0. JJ Wiebusch (Madison Edgewood) scored with 24 seconds left in regulation for the Wisconsin seniors.

Michigan HP-18 2, Colorado 0

POOL A: Owen Penny (Livonia Stevenson) scored both goals, Peter Rosa (Brother Rice) notched two assists and Ryan Price (Livonia Churchill) made 30 saves as Michigan HP-18 shut out Colorado. Penny scored midway through the first period and added a power-play goal late in the second.

POOL B: Johnny Hendrickson (Providence Academy) scored twice and Tomas Anderson (Stillwater) and Jack Erickson (Hill-Murray) combined to stop 15 of 16 shots as the Minnesota 18s improved to 2-0. Gavyn Thoreson (Andover), George Peterson (Hermantown) and Tory Lund (Sartell-St. Stephen) also scored for Minnesota.

Wisconsin HP-18 5, North Dakota 4

POOL B: Brock Sawicki (Somerset) scored with 6:43 remaining to lift the Wisconsin 18s past defending champion North Dakota in a second-round matchup. Kyle Rohrer (Oregon) added a goal and two assists for Wisconsin. Nolan Nenow (Jamestown) had two goals and an assist to lead North Dakota.
