Jack Hanson (Chisago Lakes) stopped all 10 shots he faced in the first half for Section 4. Carson Border (Totino-Grace) scored the lone Section 5 goal.
Dane Callaway (Hermantown) stopped all 14 second-half shots he faced and Tyler Barsness (Coon Rapids) added a late insurance goal as Section 7 (Gold) cruised to a consolation semifinal victory over Section 3 (Green). Eli Bolden's (Coon Rapids) unassisted first-half goal poved to be the game winner.
Goaltender Will Ingemann (Wayzata) stopped all 19 second-half shots he faced then was unbeatable in eight shootout attempts as Section 6 (Gray) outlasted Section 2 (Orange) to reach Sunday's championship. Section 6's Kasen Sauer (Wayzata) was the lone player to convert his shootout attempt, beating Carter Wishart (Chaska).
Gavin Jensen (Roseau) scored twice and Hampton Slukynsky (Warroad) stopped 22 of 23 second-half shots as Section 8 (White) earned a spot in Sunday's championship with a 5-2 win over Section 1 (Red). Jack Schmitz (Sartell-St. Stephen) and Caleb Waller (St. Michael-Albertville) each had a goal and an assist for Section 8.
