Day 3 of camp began with a morning on-ice practice, followed by a team yoga session. After lunch, the teams continued with their week of afternoon games. After the games, the teams and entire staff had a dinner which consisted of a Q&A session with the Coaching Panel for tonight’s ‘guest speakers’. To wind down the day, the team leaders coordinated a team activity at the dorms.  Day 3 was a fun one! Below are game details:

White vs Red:

Game 1 of the day came with many chances and a comeback win for the Red team. After being down by one at the half, Red came back to score two goals to win 2-1 against White. Goals came from Lavalley and Lopez, as Ribich, Cronin and Dawe each tallied an assist. White’s lone goal was scored by Holm. Kendhammer (12 saves, 1GA) and Hansen (15 saves, 0 GA)  split time in goal for Red, and Hess (12 saves, 0GA) and Simonson (4 saves, 2GA) split time for White. Box Score

Sky Blue vs Green:

After a scoreless first half, Green came out hungry to earn the 3-0 win over Sky Blue. Kendra Distad scored all three goals for Green. Hemp(11 saves) and Groess(13 saves) split the shutout for Green.  Box Score

Royal Blue vs Gold:

Royal Blue came out with high energy shutting Gold out 4 to 0. Fairchild tallied two goals for Royal Blue, with Graves and Wilhelmy adding one apiece. Walsma and Roeske split the shutout for Royal Blue. Box Scor
