Minnesota Hockey today announced it will host a Hockey Director Conference Series, presented by CoachThem and The Coaches Site, over the next three weeks. Modeled after the annual Hockey Director Conference, the series of webinars will provide opportunities for hockey directors and player development leaders in youth hockey associations to learn best practices and network with each other.
The conference will feature local and national presenters, including members of USA Hockey’s American Development Model regional manager team, and will cover a variety of topics ranging from timely subjects like virtual coaching during the current pause to recurring themes such as goaltending development and program structure.
“This is a challenging time not only for hockey but really everyone, everything and everywhere. As leaders, we must continue to focus on how we can use our energy in positive ways though,” said Hockey Director Committee Chair, Jacob Mars. “We’re excited to provide hockey directors and coaches with an opportunity to reflect on their team or association’s season to this point and consider where they can improve for the rest of the season or into next season.”
