Minnesota Hockey today implemented a few minor updates to its Phase 3 Return to Play Guidelines, which initially took effect on September 1.  Below is a summary of the changes and links to the updated documents.

UPDATE SUMMARY

  • Language was added clarifying the use of pods for tryouts. It’s recommended there should not be any mixing of pods or groups for the duration of the tryout process.
  • Adjustments were made to our guidelines for managing positive cases to align with the Minnesota Department of Health’s (MDH) updated COVID-19 Decision Tree which can be found here.
  • Associations are encouraged to have a single point of contact to coordinate with the MDH and/or local health officials on positive cases and any related communications.
