REGION TOURNAMENTS - February 28 - MARCH 1

In Minnesota Hockey Region Tournaments, a double elimination format is used to determine which teams will play in the State Tournament for each level.  At the Peewee, 12U and Bantam A & B levels, each district receives a pre-determined number of seeds to Regions as indicated in the Minnesota Hockey Handbook.

The Peewee AA, Bantam AA and Girls 15U A levels follow unique formats for number of seeds per district. Click on the appropriate link for your level to view more information.

Each Region Tournament for the Peewee, 12U and Bantam levels will send two teams to their respective State Tournament. For the Girls 15U A State Tournament, three teams will advance from each American and National Regions, and two teams will advance to state from the Olympic Region. Each 15U B Region Tournament will advance four teams to the State Tournament. For Junior Gold State Tournaments, teams and seeds are determined by Junior Gold High School League and Gold Region playdowns.

The Minnesota Hockey State Tournaments will feature the qualifying teams competing in a standard championship bracket format with 3rd place and consolation games.
