Help Wanted

The Rec League is looking for coaches, team managers and a couple of board members for the upcoming season. Open board roles include a Communications Director, a 10U Age Level Director and a Secretary. Contact President Eric Hedblom if interested in the board positions.

Declaration of Safety, Fair Play & Respect

USA Hockey launched an initiative this season designed to change the culture of hockey and make the game safer. While most of the focal points emphasize age groups with checking, the full text of the declaration and the first few minutes of video examples also provide definitions and examples on the differences between body contact (acceptable in Rec League) and body checking (not acceptable). We encourage parents and players to review these definitions and/or examples, especially if your player has participated in a checking level or league in the past.
