Minnesota Hockey announced today the roster of a Youth 15 Tier I team attending the 2019 USHL Fall Classic in Pittsburgh, Penn. on September 26-29. Comprised of the top players from the CCM Minnesota Hockey High Performance Tier I League, the team will participate in a series of games against top Tier I competition from across the country at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex.

The team, which includes eight members of Minnesota’s Top 30 players from CCM High Performance Boys 15 Development Camp, will be led coaches Cory Laylin, Mike MacMillan and Roger Mischke. A full roster for the team is listed below.

“We’re excited to provide this opportunity to the top players in our Tier I Leagues,” said High Performance Director Mike MacMillan. “We’re continuously looking for ways to enhance our High Performance Tier I Leagues so they provide the best experience for our players. Participating in this event will provide these players a great opportunity to showcase their skills to a national audience.”

The USHL Fall Classic is an annual showcase of all 16 USHL teams in one location. The Fall Classic also includes an invitational youth event featuring teams competing at the Youth Tier I 14U, 15O, 16U and 18U levels. USHL teams will have scouts in attendance at the youth event, and coaches from both college hockey and other junior hockey leagues across the globe will also be in attendance.

"The scouting presence at the Fall Classic has grown over the years and we expect the trend to continue this year with so much talent in one place at one time," said USHL Deputy Commissioner Denny Scanlon. "Last season, more than 300 scouts were in attendance and we expect that number to continue to grow at this season's event. This event has become a very valuable date on the calendar for scouts at all levels represented as it features the best talent each age group has to offer, all in one place."
