The CCM HP Tier 1 skill and competition was on full display for the Y14’s this weekend at the Cullen Hockey Center in Moorhead. Eight Minnesota teams, as well as team North Dakota, would compete in the weekend’s sixteen games.

The Loons, Walleye, and Green Giants would all go undefeated with records of 3-0-0, 3-0-1, and 3-0-0, respectively.

The Walleye’s tie came at the hands of North Dakota, who finished the weekend at 1-2-1.

After this weekend games, the Loons find themselves at the top of the standings with a record of 8-1. The Walleye and Green Giants are each a game behind with records 7-1-2.

Tristan May (Green Giants, Andover) leads players in points, with 16, and assists, with 9. Landon Mackcow (Blue Ox, Brainerd) leads the league in goals, with 9.

Y14’s continue play next Thursday-Sunday with games at Andover, Coon Rapids, and 3M Arena at Mariucci.
