  • Hand out flyers
  • Staff tables at open houses, community festivals and events.  Bring current players in jerseys and have information available.
  • Encourage players to make each Friday jersey day at school.
  • Set up a reading program using high school and college players wearing their jerseys to interact with the students and hand out information at the school at that time. Brady Brady books provide a great connection between reading and hockey.
  • Play floor hockey, boot hockey and broomball for a gym activity
  • Attend your school carnival and create a game with a hockey theme.
  • Participate in Parades, with floats and handout information flyers, kids on roller blades
  • Handing out hockey t-shirts as prizes is a great way to create goodwill and increase community awareness
  • Work with schools on setting up field trips to the rink
  • Create an after school program where kids are bused to the arena or a local outdoor rink to learn how to skate or play boot hockey
  • Place posters with Association contact information in local stores, schools, fitness centers, YMCA, YWCA, etc.
  • Plan an event for Hockey Day in Minnesota
