This was only the second year of the Minnetonka Stars and the defending state champs had a strong season with a 14-3-2 record. They also took home first place at the Chicago Chi-Town Tournament over President's Day weekend. The majority of these girls have been playing together since they were 10 years old, and many have been coached by Coach DuBois, Hagberg and Raymond the entire time. It is a very tight knit group with eight of the 14 girls being seniors. Even though the girls didn't get to defend their title this season, it was still a very special one. The girls felt honored to play against the other 19U teams as we have all become like family.
