Season Recap
This season started out quickly, playing five top 15 teams in our first six games of the season. As most teams do, it took some time for the boys to gel, being just over .500 through the first 20 games of the season. As the season hit Thanksgiving, the boys went on a streak, going 10-0-1 over an 11-game stretch to get to Christmas. During that run, we played in and won a tournament in Brainerd, playing the last three and a half games with only ten players due to injuries and sickness. In early January, we went on another run, going 10-2-3 over a 5 week period. Our team was the District 8 regular season champion, attaining 39 of a possible 48 points, the District 8 playoff champion, and the Bantam AA East Region champion, winning the championship on a short handed breakaway in double overtime. The Lakeville South Bantam AA team finished the season with a 33-10-6 record.
