Warroad Peewee A
Season Recap
The 2019-20 Warroad Peewee A team surpassed expectations and improved immensely over the season, making it an incredible year to be a part of. Here are a few of the highlights from the season.
- Started tryouts in October with only 20 skaters and two goalies in town
- Patrick Kennedy was playing his first year as goalie
- Won the Fort Frances, Ontario Peewee A tournament in January
- Won 30 games this year after this group only won 12 games in Squirts
- Finished third in District 16 regular season standings
- Finished second in District playoff tournament with a loss to East Grand Forks
- Qualified for State despite losing our first game in the North Region tournament by winning four straight games in the consolation bracket
