Moorhead Peewee AA
Season Recap
The Moorhead Peewee AA team played an extremely competitive schedule with two trips to Duluth and four trips to “the cities” in order to play some great teams and improve and develop. In addition to games, the boys displayed impressive dedication by practicing three days a week at 6 am, followed by a team breakfast, before school.
A few of this year's highlights include beating White Bear Lake to go to the championship game of the Spirit of Duluth Tournament and winning the Showdown in Potato Town Tournament in our hometown. The Spuds also won the North Region and was super excited for the trip to State! The team finished 38-7-4, with six of their losses to top 10 teams and were playing their best hockey heading into State.
All of the travel and team meals created a close knit group of players, and the boys can’t wait to continue playing together again next season!
