World Girls' Hockey Weekend

2022 World Girls' Hockey Weekend

On October 20th-22nd the entire world celebrated girls' hockey during the IIHF’s 2023 World Girls’ Ice Hockey Weekend. Girls' Hockey Weekend is designed to celebrate the massive strides that have been taken in both participation and player development for girls' hockey, while also providing new families an opportunity to get involved.

Girls' Hockey Weekend presents the perfect opportunity for new girls and families to try hockey in a fun and safe environment while learning more about their local association. Common events include girls only try hockey events, season kick-off parties, scrimmage sessions that highlight all of the teams in the program, bring-a-friend skates and a variety of off-ice programs as well.
