Satellite Training Program

The STP format has a recommended 30 hours of on-ice skill development and 60 hours of off-ice training. The programs generally run from mid June until early August with players participating 3 to 4 times per week. Originally developed by Jack Blatherwick, Ted Brill and Herb Brooks, STP sites now train over 2,000 players each year. Each program is independently operated in the local community and is tailored to meet the needs of the community.
Minnesota Hockey will not be holding the STP Festival as in past years.
