Rosemount Area Hockey Association is Seeking Youth Coaches

RAHA is looking for head and assistant coaches for their Bantam and PW youth levels for the upcoming 2017-18 season.

Prefer 5-8 years of coaching experience at the youth level and a dedication to help our youth skaters excel at hockey.

Ideally these positions would be for multiple years.

Elk River seeks Youth Hockey Coaches

The Elk River Youth Hockey Association is seeking energized coaches for engagement in a number of top-level program coaching positions.

Elk River is the home assocaition for many top level players and that's because it has always been a great place to coach hockey; we are passionate about growing hockey in our community and recognize that coaches are critical to developing our players and our program.

Hopkins Seeks Youth Coaches

Hopkins Youth Hockey Association has open coaching positions for Squirt, PeeWee, and Bantam level coaches for the 2017-18 season.

Experienced and dedicated coaches are sought to join Hopkins Youth Hockey Association. Positions are available for Head and Assistant coaches at the Squirt, PeeWee, and Bantam levels. Hopkins Hockey is dedicated to the development of the game of hockey and instilling passion for the game in the players we serve.

Kennedy Hockey (KHBC) Peewee and Squirt Coach Openings

The Kennedy Hockey Booster Club (KHBC) is looking for Squirt and Peewee Level Coaches to serve the Bloomington Kennedy/Richfield Hockey (BKRH) Program. 

We are passionate about growing hockey in our community and recognize that coaches are critical to developing our players and our program.  We are looking for candidates that can serve as Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches for multiple years in the program.   

Criteria:  BKRH believes hockey knowledge is expected to coach at this level.  BKRH is looking for coaches that meet the following criteria:

  • Philosophy and approach that fully embraces the USA Hockey ADM.
  • Teacher:  Squirts continues to be an important fundamental development age.  We are looking for coaches that have the ability and desire to teach core fundamental skating and stick skills.
  • Organized: Prepare practice plans that utilize the full ice and concepts of the USA ADM philosophy (e.g., small area games, multiple stations, high on-ice coach to player ratio)
  • Collaborative: Highly values of the ideas of others and shares responsibility for outcomes with other on-ice and off-ice leaders.
  • Good Communicators
    • Provide written feedback/reviews to players during the season
    • Comfortable communicating with other coaches and families
  • Passionate about developing our young athletes
  • Experience: We prefer prior hockey coaching and playing experience.
  • USA Hockey Certification: All coaches will have to be USA hockey certified by the start of the hockey season which includes enrollment in the CEP and completion of age appropriate modules.
