At this time, USA Hockey has completed the player selection process in accordance with the final National Notification Timeline date: June 20th ( At this time, any player who has been selected to attend or who has been named as an alternate for the National Girls’ Player Development Camps has been notified. Thank you for your participation in this year’s District Tryout Process.

The purpose of the CCM High Performance Program is to identify, train, educate, and evaluate Minnesota's best hockey players. The competition throughout our program gives each player the opportunity to measure themselves against others in her age group, gain knowledge about her development and be exposed to outstanding coaching

  • Phase 1: Players will participate in tryouts within their Minnesota Hockey Districts. In 2017, players must have a 2002 birth date to participate.
  • Phase 2: The top 30 players from each District will participate in a Development phase, with 20 from each District advancing to Phase 3.
  • Phase 3: The District teams compete in five games, which will include three games at the Girls HP 15 Spring Festival at Braemar Arena in Edina.

The Spring and Summer Festivals provide an excellent opportunity to be seen by college coaches. In addition, players have the opportunity to be evaluated for potential participation in national camps.

Traditionally, Minnesota has had about 50% turn over in players selected to national camps from one year to the next. In 2012, there was a 56% turn over from the previous year's 15 list and 40% turn over from the previous year's 16 list. This is proof of the large talent base here in Minnesota, our dedication to a fair, non-biased evaluation process, and the continued development of our players.
