The Minnesota Hockey player and coach development team is offering a limited number of goalie coaching clinics each fall.
The clinics are designed to increase the level of coaching competency while helping develop higher skilled goalies.
Steve Carroll, USA Hockey's Minnesota District goalie coach-in-chief and Justin Johnson, USA Hockey's Minnesota District associate goalie coach-in-chief are the lead instructors. Other goalie coaches may assist at the clinics.
The goalie coaching clinics consist of a one-hour classroom presentation followed by a one-hour on-ice demonstration session.
Host districts are responsible for purchasing the ice time and arranging for the meeting space. All expenses related to the assigned skills instructors will be covered by the Minnesota Hockey coach-in-chief budget.
Districts interested in hosting a goalie coaching clinic for their coaches should contact Carroll at firstname.lastname@example.org.
