Coach Requirements
In coordination with USA Hockey, all youth hockey coaches in Minnesota required to attend a series of clinics, via the Coach Education Program (CEP), before they are eligible to coach. The clinics are designed to provide coaches with the education and resources needed to ensure the proper development of every player. CEP clinics are typically held from September to December. For more information, visit the CEP page.
The Minnesota Hockey Officials Association (MHOA) has been managing amateur hockey officials for over 25 years. With over 2,400 registered officials, MHOA contains more ice hockey officials than any other state. For information on becoming an official or on getting registered for the coming season, stay tuned to our Officials page.
