Feb. 24th – District Tournaments must be completed
March 1st - 3rd – Region Tournaments
March 15th -17th – State Tournaments
In Minnesota Hockey Region Tournaments, a double elimination format is used to determine which teams will play in the State Tournament for each level. At the Peewee A and B and Bantam A and B levels, each district receives a pre-determined number of seeds to Regions as indicated in the Minnesota Hockey Handbook.
The Peewee AA, Bantam AA and all Girls levels follow a unique format for number of seeds. Click on the appropriate link for your level to view more information.
Each of the Region Tournaments for Peewee and Bantam will send two teams to the State Tournament. For Girls State Tournaments, three teams will advance from each American and National Regions, and two teams will advance to state from the Olympic Regions.
In state tournaments, the qualifying teams will compete in a standard championship bracket format with 3rd place and consolation games.
