The Rec League hockey season is starting very soon! Here are some important announcements, so please be sure to read thoroughly.
 
ROSTERS & NEED FOR GOALIES
We have made significant progress on rosters and expect that they will be finalized & posted on our website in mid-December. All age levels (except for 14U) are seeking more goalies, so if your player or a friend is interested, please contact the appropriate age level coordinator HERE.
  
ICE SCHEDULE - SKILLS CLINICS
We start our season with Skills Clinics designed to get skaters on the ice for basic skills development.  These ice times begin in late November and run through December. Clinic ice times are set up by age level & region. Each player can attend up to three scheduled sessions.  Players should attend sessions only within their age level and within their area.  A minimum of three Rec League coaches will be expected to attend each clinic session.  We expect to publish the full season schedule by mid-December.  For clinic schedules, click HERE.

10U/12U AGE LEVELS
This year, we experimented with registering a 10U level.  Launching this level is a goal for the Rec League, but was dependent on registration numbers.  Unfortunately, we did not have enough players to create separate 10U level.  However, we have decided to form two 12U divisions instead. Skaters are being placed into the two divisions according to skill & proficiency level, as indicated on registrations. We're hopeful that these placements will provide a great experience for all 10U & 12U skaters. VOLUNTEER HELP NEEDED
The league is still looking for coaches & managers for many teams, as well as league-wide administrative help. If you're interested in coaching or managing, please contact Coaching Director, Todd Myers for coaching & manager requirements. If you're interested in helping administratively, please contact League President, Ed Litman for more information. Thank you for all who have already stepped up to help!

JERSEY/SOCK DISTRIBUTION
Jerseys and socks will be distributed to the coaches by mid-December.  Coaches will handle distributing uniforms prior to the first game of the season.
