St. Paul, MN – November 7, 2017 – Minnesota Hockey, in partnership with Sauce Hockey, today launched an apparel line on its website, www.minnesotahockey.org. The launch of the first line comes in time for the holiday shopping season. In addition to the typical staples of hats, sweatshirts and jogger sweatpants, limited edition “We Wear Breezers” T-shirts are also available. Proceeds from the apparel sales will be used to fund “Grow the Game” grants to benefit associations and players throughout Minnesota.    

“Minnesotans take a tremendous amount of pride in being part of the hockey culture here,” said Glen Andresen, Executive Director of Minnesota Hockey. “Regardless of ability, being a hockey player in Minnesota means something special to our members. We thank Sauce Hockey for capturing that in a line of high quality clothing that kids and parents alike can take pride in wearing. We are thrilled with this line that will really resonate with our members, and beyond.”

The line of clothing captures the Minnesota Hockey brand, while also giving a stick tap to those traditions that are unique to Minnesota Hockey players, such as calling hockey pants, “breezers.”
