SECTION 2A/AA - 4, SECTION 6A/AA - 1

Section 2A/AA (orange) came out hot with Brady Ziemer (Holy Family) scoring what would be his first of 2 goals less than a minute into the game.  Midway through the first half, Jack Jensen (Eden Prairie) dropped another shot in the net, bumping Section 2's lead to 2.  To start the 2nd, Ziemer scored his 2nd goal of the game within the first minute of play.  The last half would remain scoreless for the next 18 minutes until Spencer Rudrud (Eden Prairie) stuffed one past the goaltender to stretch Section 2's lead to 4-0.  Just over a minute later, in an exciting last five minutes of play, Liam Malmquist (Edina) put Section 6 on the board with the first goal of the game for Gray.  Section 2 outshot Section 6 43 to 17 with Section 6 goaltenders Atticus Raasch (St. Louis Park) and Sawyer Andersen (Wayzata) blocking a total of 39 shots.  In the end, Section 2 was able to hold Section 6 to a score of 4-1 to advance to tomorrow's Championship game at 2:15 pm.
