Minnesota Hockey will be hosting seven workshops across the state this summer. All Minnesota Hockey association and district leaders are encouraged to attend.

Minnesota Hockey will be sponsoring seven Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) Leadership Workshops throughout the metro and greater Minnesota this summer. The first workshop will be held at Park High School in Cottage Grove on Wednesday, June 22nd starting at 7:00 pm.

PCA's Leadership Workshops are intended for members of District and Association board of directors and focus on leading your organization and building a culture of success.

As a proud partner of PCA, Minnesota Hockey has been offering its association with a grant program for hosting parent workshops each of the past two seasons. This summer Minnesota Hockey is excited to build on its efforts to provide all members with a positive youth hockey experience by adding these leadership training opportunities. The leadership workshops will provide association leaders with professional training on how to establish a positive culture in their community.

Youth hockey leaders, from the volunteer board members of a local association to the coaches working with young athletes, are all responsible for creating a culture where youth thrive. Developing such a strong culture often depends on having a laser focus on the organization's values by everyone involved.

PCA's workshops assist organizations in all sports by helping create a Development Zone culture that places a primary emphasis on developing Better Athletes, Better People.

Additional workshop times and locations will be announced at a later date.
