Host site registration is now open!

USA Hockey has announced that associations and rinks can begin registering now at USAHockeyProgramServices.com to host Try Hockey For Free Days, presented by Kraft, scheduled for the 2015-16 season. USA Hockey's Try Hockey For Free Days provide local programs with a national platform to encourage new players to try hockey.

The first nationwide Try Hockey For Free Day will be Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015, as part of Come Play Hockey Month. The second opportunity will occur Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, during Hockey Weekend Across America.

In previous years, as many as 70 or more community associations and arenas in Minnesota have hosted events.  Locations for this year's event will be announced in early to mid October in coordination with the opening of participant registration.

Each host should have a limited amount of equipment available. All participants are required to have a minimum of a helmet, skates and gloves.

For more information on Try Hockey For Free Day and what to expect, you can contact Minnesota Hockey by calling 651-312-3415 or send us an email.
