Being a general dentist, I really enjoy the wide variety of patients I see on a daily basis. However, as my practice has matured, I have developed an appreciation for working with my younger patients. Very few things in dentistry are more rewarding than effectively communicating with someone who is significantly younger and seeing their smile of approval upon completing our work.

At Park Dental, we take our pediatric dentistry very seriously. In an attempt to be conducive to a family lifestyle, our practices treat patients of all ages, including children. Through this approach, we are able to handle most preventative and restorative care issues – everything from applying sealants to filling cavities and much more. In the instance that a problem is too advanced for our dentists, we happily refer our patients on to our partners at The Dental Specialists - Pediatric Dentistry.

In order to provide quality, attentive care for children, we primarily see kids on Saturdays. Reserving Saturdays for pediatric dentistry allows us to focus our attention on a child’s care, while allowing the kids to feel comfortable with a group of their peers. Our younger patients definitely seem to have a positive experience as they enjoy returning to see their dentists and dental team.

In addition to seeing children primarily on Saturdays, at Park Dental we utilize a “tell-show-do” philosophy with our younger patients. Whenever we have to perform a treatment on a child, we make sure to tell and show them what we will be doing before completing the procedure. This calms the patients and helps us ensure that we are giving them the best experience possible.

Park Dental has 39 locations throughout the Twin Cities and western Wisconsin and is owned and led by dentists who provide lifetime dental health through quality, patient-centered care. All practices offer early morning and evening appointments. Park Dental is also proud to be a presenting partner of Minnesota Hockey's Hockey Education Program (HEP) and the Excellence in Coaching Award.
