Minnesota Hockey Reveals 2014 CCM NIT Rosters

Teams Will Participate In 2014 CCM High School National Invitational Tournament April 24-27 at Plymouth Ice Center

St. Paul, MN – March 26, 2014 – Minnesota Hockey, in conjunction with Reebok-CCM and the Minnesota Hockey Coaches Association, announced today the Minnesota rosters for the 5th Annual 2014 CCM High School National Invitational Tournament to be played April 24 – 27 at the Plymouth Ice Center. The tournament will feature teams comprised of top high school players from Minnesota, Massachusetts, Michigan, North Dakota and Wisconsin.

“Many high school players have the potential to play at the next level after their high school career is over and this tournament will give these young men and women a chance to showcase their abilities in front of scouts from the NHL, NCAA and junior leagues,” said Mike MacMillan, Executive Director of the Minnesota High School Coaches Association.

Two boys’ teams and two girls’ teams from Minnesota will compete in the tournament. The Minnesota HP 18 boys’ team will feature the top players from the recently completed Reebok Minnesota Hockey High Performance 18 Festival. The Minnesota Seniors boys’ team will be comprised of the most outstanding players from the 30th Annual Ted Brill Great 8 Tournament that took place March 21-23 at Wakota Arena in South St. Paul. The Minnesota 18U Girls’ team will feature the top players from the recently completed Junior Festival while Minnesota Seniors were selected after participating in the Senior Classic held by the Minnesota Girls’ High School Coaches Association.

As part of the extensive Reebok-CCM partnership with Minnesota Hockey, CCM will once again be the title partner of the tournament.

The Reebok Minnesota Hockey High Performance Programs are designed to identify and develop the best players in Minnesota and to provide the top players from each district or section the chance to play with and against the best players in their area and the state.
