Eight people, including six goalies who have been at Minnesota Hockey's Dave Peterson Reebok High Performance Goalie Camp, are participating in the inaugural North Star College Cup, Jan. 24-25, at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.

The goalies include:

  • Matt McNeely, University of Minnesota-Duluth, Burnsville.
  • Ryan Coyne, University of Minnesota, Plymouth.
  • Adam Wilcox, University of Minnesota, South St. Paul.

Also two others who help at the camp are goalie coaches for teams in the tournament.

  • Justin Johnson, University of Minnesota, Minnesota Hockey's Dave Peterson Reebok High Performance Goalie Camp associate director.
  • Dave Rogalski, St. Cloud State University.

The University of Minnesota, in conjunction with Bemidji State University, Minnesota State University-Mankato, St. Cloud State University and the University of Minnesota Duluth are teams competing in the annual North Star College Cup featuring Minnesota’s five Division I men’s hockey programs.

The four-day Minnesota Hockey Dave Peterson Reebok High Performance Goalie Camp, now in its 10th year, is held in Blaine during July and designed to improve the individual skills, techniques and athleticism of goalies in the 15-to 18-year-old age group.
