Looking for a way to improve your game while spending some time away from the rink?  You’re in luck!  USA Hockey has a complete set of ADM dry land training cards with a variety of drills for 6-12 year olds. The cards provide age-appropriate exercises and guidelines to help every player become a better athlete.

The development of fundamental movement skills and fundamental sport skills is critical if children are to feel confident about physical activity, and all sports begin with the same basic fundamental movements and core sports skills.

These fun drills help young athletes build a strong foundation in each of these areas by introducing them to multi-directional movement skills, multi-directional speed, agility, balance, coordination, rhythm and spatial awareness. By working on these drills individually or in small groups, players will build the confidence to lead a healthy and active life in sport.

Below is a look at the six main categories of drills and an example from each. Visit USA Hockey's Dryland Training page for a full list.
