MITE / 8U Girls Results
The HEP committee has decided not to make the aggregate results for the Mite Skills Challenge testing available on the Website for several reasons. First, composition of Mite teams varies significantly from association to association. Some with only eight year olds on their highest Mite teams and others with 6, 7 and 8 year olds. Secondly, at the Mite level we don't want to "discourage" any players because they are below average. Based on the above issues, making comparisons is difficult as the playing field is not level.

The focus at this entry level of playing the game of hockey should be on individual improvement from the beginning of the season to the end, creating fun and an appreciation for the game rather than worrying about comparisons.
